Whats happening

I tried to alter my side image to make it slighlty darker, so I did the normal thing and darkened the image on my PC uploaded it to blogger as a post, saved the post as a draft, then looked at the HTML editing code to get the URL for the image to put into the background. This is when I noticed something slightly different, whereas before I would get something like this http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2793/1947/1600/dark.jpg now i get this https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgQQ26RQz1kAnSDX8whwCIDuYgVIDAxCTV7zkbrzvSdjyscyuoZLfRAu_2SR0WeoZZhgrzm4yo0oBUfnLd6-uDBIb8uNBaosDUVFuZQScTKjPVAb4gFiiFl24u1OjPEaCUc4uV/s1600-h/dark.jpg and it doesn't bloody work, is this bloggers way of stopping me from using my blogger space to hold images? what the hell is going on how do I remedy this problem? anyone know the answer? If so HELP
